Oh my gosh...I'm trying to sleep in the same bed as Poppy right now. Wow...not working. She should be asleep right now, but she is cracking me up instead. As I type this, I thought she was getting sleepy, but all of a sudden, she got in my face and enthusiastically said, "HI!!!"
This is gonna be a long night :).
SO FRUSTRATING and funny, too. I get this a couple of times a week. Good luck with that. haha
ReplyDeleteUgh! It was a long night...but then the next day, Poppy and Oz spent the night with Uncle Jeffrey and Aunt Marti. SO awesome!
DeleteHave to smile at this blog. So many memories of my own and grandkids with the 'co-sleeping' gig. How can you love something so much and want it to end just as much??HA! That girl of yours is a trip. Enjoy the journey.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie. It was a pleasure to meet you, too! You summed it up well. Most of my days with Poppy lately have been either in awe of her cuteness or in awe of her crazy attitude.
DeleteI tried to sleep with my 2 1/2 y/o grandson last nite. His first time in a big bed. He laid on me all nite and at 6am chirped " I awake". And we!re up. Funny and fun,
ReplyDeleteUgh! Why are they SO cheerful?!? :) That's hilarious.
DeleteOne of my favorite memories with the kids was Friday nights the kids picked who they slept with and where we slept. It was Friday night sleepover at home from the time they were toddlers. I think I have tried sleeping in every nook and cranny in the house. We have made crazy tents with blankets and slept in the wilderness (stuffed toys)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, they make great memories and conversations!
That is so fun, Cheri! I love it. Thank you for sharing!!
