Last week, we were watching the finals of American Idol. New Kids on the Block were performing. I was never a big fan, but embarrassingly, I know many of the words. I started singing the chorus to a song called, "The Right Stuff." There is a part where the guys in the band just keep singing, "Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh."
Poppy tried to mimic my mouth movements and kept cracking up. We looked pretty silly, but it was a good time.

ReplyDeleteNever stop singing and dancing with your kids. It is the essence of motherhood and sacred memories. Spoken by a kid who has been around the block a few times. :) And who danced with her kids (horribly) and sang with and to them, too (just as horribly).
