The Story About Labels

This is sure to offend someone out there, but it was always pretty funny.  Steve just was not a mean or closed-minded person at all...so when he did not care for a group of individuals, it was never over the big stuff...

He rarely generalized or believed in stereotypes, but he did have a few.  For example, he decided early in our relationship that anyone who drives a PT Cruiser is "a tool." No ifs, ands or buts.

I tried to convince him that his thinking was erroneous, but you know what they say...generalizations usually exist for a reason.

I kid cuz I love :).

  1. Ummm....I drove a PT Cruiser. So I am officially, by Steve's standards, a 'former tool'. And, no I am not offended. I really liked that car. And I am sure, had Steve known me when I was 'tooling' around in my PT Cruiser, I would have changed his mind. Yep! :) :)

    1. That is really funny, Debbie! I think his label only applied to guys who drove Cruisers...in fact...I'm sure of it. :)

    2. Oh, thank the Lord! Though Steve has gone to Glory, I would not want him to think badly of me. Even now. And yeah....guys driving PT Cruisers...not a fan.
