Steve always talked about a favorite cereal he used to eat as a child. I always laughed at the name, because it sounded SO incredibly disgusting. I had never heard of it before. I even looked it up online tonight to make sure that he hadn't created it in his head...but sure enough...there was a King Vitaman cereal.

And no...I didn't misspell that. It wasn't King Vitamin...it was King Vitaman!
Yuckers.
HA! I am a cereal expert, and I think I remember that one. When my four kids didn't like what I had fixed for supper, or we ran out, I used to say, "And that is why God invented cereal. Knock yourself out." :) To this day, Cocoa Krispies owns my heart.
ReplyDeleteKing Vitaman was one of my favorite cereals as a kid and I hadn't seen it for years in stores around here. A few months ago, I found a box at Jungle Jims in Cincinnati. I was so excited; I couldn't wait to taste it after so long! I won't go in to the depths of my disappointment, but suffice it to say that either their formula or my taste buds had changed drastically in the intervening decades.... Beth Brentlinger
