Today was Poppy's Halloween party at daycare.  I looked forward to it all day.  She was pretty out-of-sorts when I arrived.  I probably should have gotten her used to her costume ahead of time.

I had on my winter coat when I got there...it was kind of cold in Indianapolis today...but man, once that girl clung onto me for at least thirty minutes, I got pretty toasty!  She couldn't even be pried away for a cupcake.  That's something when your kid likes you better than cupcakes! 

It took a while, but once she knew that I wasn't going to take off and leave her, she calmed down.

Hard to believe the difference a year can make...
