So I start with a picture of Oz from daycare last week. The temperatures were unseasonably high, so short-sleeves and shorts came back out. He must have been playing very hard that day, because I can't imagine that his mother sent him to school with his hair looking like that!
On Saturday morning, we had big plans, so Ozzy started with a breakfast of champions served to him on the couch. He enjoyed some Saturday morning cartoons while dining in style.
After eating and doing a few chores, we headed down to Columbus, Indiana to play at The Commons. It's a great place to take your little ones! There is a free play area and across the street is a Children's Museum with loads of activities.
At one of the activity centers, the kids can 'plant' flowers. At first, Poppy and Oz stuck to the program and nicely planted and watered the wooden pieces...
And then, Oz deduced that knocking over the flowers was even more fun because it made a huge bang. I felt like they suddenly became a little gang in the middle of rioting...hitting the flowers, kicking them and stomping. I was yelling, "LASWELLS!!! LASWELLS!!!"
Vandalism must make babies thirsty, because Oz decided he needed a swig from the watering can following all of that destruction. It's totally fine. No worries...I'm sure they sanitize it after every grubby little child holds it.
We finished wreaking havoc on the Museum by dropping a toy down the toilet and making Michael jump in to retrieve it. What a treat for him to hang out with us! :)
After our big day, we had a really nice time visiting Cin, Jerry and Ashlynn at their house. The kids had a total blast jumping on the trampoline. It was hilarious to hear them all giggling!
Last October, it seems like I was still in such a fog. It has been really nice to be able to enjoy some things.
