Quiet day at the Laswell house. We watched movies, played with Poppy and napped. Days of Thunder was one of our feature presentations. I cannot believe it came out in 1990. How did it get to be 2014?
Just a random side note regarding time passing...so when my sisters and I were kids, my younger sister was a list freak! She would makes lists detailing anything and everything. I vividly still remember laughing so hard when she created a list that specified how old everyone in my family would be in the Year 2000. I could not imagine being THAT old ever.
Sometimes I wish I could have stopped time earlier this year, when we already had Poppy, and everything else still seemed okay. If someone could just help me time travel back there, I promise I would appreciate it so much more.
Back to current day...Steve really seemed to be feeling good today for the most part. As a side effect of the chemotherapy, his ankles and feet are swelling. He says that now he knows how I must feel every summer when I retain water :). Hmmmm...I wouldn't ever have chosen for him to develop empathy for my seasonal cankles in quite this manner. Poor guy.
Looking forward to watching a great Colts game with Steve and Poppy tomorrow!
